@phcraftlove I’m sorry, the algorithm is awful and I hate AI slop so much, it gets exhausting seeing it blow up while people working super hard don’t 😞 but for what it’s worth, I personally really love your art and writing and I always look forward to seeing it 🫂

I’m so done with this. I’ve never felt less motivated to draw or write. It’s been 2.5 years, and while I’ve seen people at my skill level get tons of interaction and followers, I still suck a big one. All. The. Time. AI slop gets hundreds, thousands of likes. My hand-drawn art gets about 30 at best. No views. No likes. No followers. Yes, I mostly draw for myself, but show me at least one creative person who doesn’t care about engagement or validation. I’ve never met one. The same applies to my fics. And given how draining writing is for me, it hurts even more. That said, I don’t think I’ll be drawing much in the future. I’ll still do it occasionally, but I’m really struggling with motivation right now. As for writing, I plan to finish translating Join with the Spite of Fortune, however slowly that process goes. So if you feel a strong urge to unfollow, go ahead. I’m working hard on not caring anymore.
