A lot of girls learned early that the more feminine you are, the less you’re respected. It was never about pink. It was about the fear that being feminine meant being taken less seriously. Healing is realizing you can be feminine and still be untouchable. The day you realize that, you stop running from the girly things you denied yourself and start enjoying them like they were always yours.
