No, it wasn't a dead Liverpool. Before he came, Klopp used that "Dead Team" containing Benteke to play a Carabao Cup final and a Europa League Final. Yes, both were Lost, out of badluck [Man City via Penalties, and Sevilla's Europa Magic wand was alive]. Then came Sadio Mane who brought so much Life into Liverpool... Then a season after, Salah arrived. So I do not think the team was dead, there was life there, but subsequent additions which he was part of, and TRUST laid upon Klopp, made them become Winners... This is a Shared History of Victory by Mane, Salah, Firmino, Alisson, Robertson, Van Dijk, Henderson, etc. Gotta give respect to Liverpool, unlike what my club, Chelsea has become 😭
