@playful_learner We play an exchange game. Roll a die, pick up that many 1ps, roll again, pick 1ps again, keep going until you have enough pennies to exchange for another coin (5p, 10p etc). Keep rolling, collecting & exchanging up to a set point, 50p/£1 😊

I personally don’t think there’s enough in the maths curriculum where children actually get to work with money, particularly in KS2. What do you think? #edutwitter #money #moneygame #teachingideas #playinupperprimary #playbasedlearning
