The industry has gone completely nuts.
Use tokens to generate AI code and documentation slop. Then use even more tokens to understand and review that slop.
Then judge engineers by token usage instead of how empathetic and clear their docs and code actually are, and completely neglect human comprehension.
Utter nonsense.

It’s easy to lose sight of how far you’ve come especially after race day. I've been there too.
There was a time when 1 km run felt impossible
Then 3 km run non-stop felt like a win
Then 5 km and more......
What used to be your all-out 400 m pace… is now your 10 km pace
You are getting better
Chase performance. Be obsessed with improvement.
But don’t forget this version of you was once the goal.
You’re not a slow runner or a fast runner
You’re a runner who kept showing up
And you’re already someone your past self would be proud of
You are your only competition

Today I have some wonderful news to share:
I’m offering you something that will solve the most common problem writers have... for a steal of a price
“I’m not a writer” you say?
- You write tweets?
- You write content for your business?
- You write on Substack? LinkedIn? Reddit?
You sir are a writer
But where is this coming from?
Here's the story:
Last night I was on a call with my mentor and we were discussing what I was working on. As I was telling him about my daily emails we touched upon how it's difficult to write every day, from scratch, without a blank page staring at you.
This is after all, a common problem when you start writing your first article for the day. Reminds me of my days when I'm writing an answer to a question I've never heard before.
Anyway...
Because of this problem he gave me permission to share with you our way of overcoming a blank page.
Writers block? We don't do that here.
I haven't ironed out the details yet but... in two weeks time I will be hosting a workshop where we use this exact method to write content for your market. Emails, blogs, social media posts, the format doesn't matter.
When he first introduced it to me and I tried it out?
I felt my mind look at topics in marketing from a whole new light. Like that famous gif that goes "ahhhhhhhh"...
It didn't take me 30 minutes of drafting and deleting words either...
I'll share more on it soon. Let me know your thoughts on this. If someone you know is interested in it, share this email with them so they can join my list and follow along too!
Talk soon!

I hated writing esays in school. So let's try writing again. I spent an hour on this and then used chatgpt to fix any grammatical mistakes and refinement. Goal is to replace screentime before bed with such activities. DM me your feedback. heyakash.dev/blog/2026-02-0…
