@JudeJarjoura @ScreamMovies I liked the different approach Scream 7 brought to the mother-daughter dynamic. Sidney protecting hers from it rather than trying to make hers a warrior brought a more tender relationship and we saw how both approaches still affected their relationships. You can only do you.

Halloween (2018) is the gold standard for requels. But I love that #Scream7 didn’t try to repeat the requel formula. It just makes Sidney the full focus again. No split focus, the (adult) killers are coming for her, and it honestly feels like the true continuation of Scream 4.
