@primary1A2
sniffs 🤧 craving “we shouldn’t be doing this”

Well, @MTNNG seems serious about this FibreX o. I saw a lady named Shiayet with a flier in my area and asked her whether it is now available here. She said she would come to my street to confirm that the fibre is there. I got a message from her just 10 minutes later that the fibre is indeed in my street. She then sent me a short KYC form on WhatsApp. I filled it and sent it back. In a short while, she gave me an account number to pay into, and I paid. The modem and the installation are free. There is a N25k per month option for households but I chose to go to the higher N45k per month 100 Mbps option. As soon as I paid, I got a call that they would be at my house to install it in the next 30 minutes! Dizzyingly good customer service! 🙌🏽 I hope that the internet is as good as the customer service.

We’ve also updated how payouts are calculated. Revenue Sharing payouts are now based on Verified Home Timeline impressions, meaning your earnings are driven by real views from Premium users who see your posts in their Home feed. This shift is about rewarding content that truly resonates: posts that consistently show up in timelines and spark discussion. A more detailed earnings dashboard is coming soon to Creator Studio as well. Stay tuned.

I would have apologized and added “please send me the list of restaurants you will be visiting this month, so I can cancel my reservations there.”

Look I’m all about solutions. I will be 💯 with you. Everyone is now doubting this initiative and losing interest in this. Some are even asking you to refund the money back to donors etc. I’ve seen screenshots of the winners of the laptops and it seems all fictitious. Accounts that have not tweeted in 1-2years possibly can’t be winning laptops over regulars here (and they are a lot of regulars on your TL) My solution: Go back to your original tweet, get neutral respected handles to pick 4-5 applicants at random, let’s have a ballot system (Twitter poll) where everyone votes for who will get a laptop on each day. I can volunteer my own TL for the balloting. What it does is 1. No dormant/burner handle will get a laptop. 2. People will lobby Nigerians to vote for them to win a laptop. Most compelling tale gets people to vote for them. 3. It creates awareness for what you are doing as more people talk about 4. Your friend or my friend won’t win as all Nigerians will be voting. 5. The next day, people will be looking forward to the new winners (as it’s a daily selection and voting) which will make more people to donate. 6. No one will accuse you of dishonesty as it’s all open. 7. Everyone will know the winners. You don’t need to speak much English. I wish I was on the original team to sort all these out. It’s a good initiative but the execution and process has been so poor. Have a lovely day.
