again and again, queer shows don't have to revolve around them being queer. ofc it's important for us to have "realistic representation" but it's also important for the world to see that we're also just like any other person and we can have normal cute cloche love stories

Had an argument once with someone who said Thai BL doesn’t represent LGBTQ+ struggles, but I think it does something just as important: it normalizes love. Like Phuwin said, they show you that homosexual couple are people too, and they also have stories beyond struggle.
