I'm late to the #GerhardtKonig trial and I couldnt resist skipping ahead to his testimony. I can NOT believe that him & his lawyer really thought it was a good idea for him to testify. His testimony showed that he was insanely possessive. His reaction to his wife's "affair" was to extreme. After hearing him justify his behavior, theres no doubt in my mind that he's guilty of trying to unalive her.

@GogIvanka @Jennifer2Flower I think he had the intent deep down inside of him (built up resentment towards her) & he allowed his emotions, for whatever reason that day, to lead him to proceed forward when he had the perfect opportunity.

@Jennifer2Flower Im not convinced of the planning either specifically, I think he was planning it in general, if that makes sense. Like the timing of the life insurance is kind of weird & random.

Arguments before the jury entered:  State said defense opened the door to allow the state to question Gerhardt about sexual coercion.  Meaning he required sex on demand, or he threatened Arielle that he'd expose her affair.   The judge ruled that the state can't get into specifically sexual "coercion", but they can talk about his sexual demands. The judge also agreed with the state that the defense opened the door to bring up the "digital spying".  This includes the defendant in his prior marriage using an iPad to spy on his then-wife and daughter and mirroring their phones to view their emails and messages. #gerhardtkonig
