There had been lots of contradictory information about the stance of the Georgian Church vis-à-vis Bartholomew I's participation, and what was favorable in the process in an effort to deter the influence of the Russian Church. Overall, it seems like the ceremony went well, even better than critics expected. Russians did not take part in any part of the ceremony either, apart from attendance, of course. Can Orthodox converts just stop being autistic about their faith? Get an actual hobby, go out and meet some real people. Pray your morning and evening prayers, go to church.
