"For the @DeptofWar and other US stakeholders, the big attraction is potentially being able to avoid the constraints imposed on them by Ericsson and Nokia. Thomas Rondeau, for instance, is an admirer of #OTFS, an alternative waveform technology to the OFDM used in today's 5G networks. In integrated sensing and communication (#ISAC), a #6G feature with military uses, OTFS could be especially valuable. But @pulsone, perhaps the best-known OTFS developer, cannot bring its software products into networks unless the Nordic vendors allow it.
