thing is, yes, if you are actually top level, I don't think it's that much of an issue - but it's a miserable mid level situation to me lool In City, I'm way more scared of the low end LR guys. They're playing a different game and it's stressful af to figure it out in time lmao

CotW is not really exempt lol. Rev Blow and accel cancel strings are pretty hard to defend against and often low cost/risk, even if you can execute the defense. Better after the last patch, but still not quite there imo Mary shuts some things down though and that's a good sign?

was cracking up watching Max try to beat Wild Ryu Player #532456 and it certainly hit me that - Modern fgs have successfully evened the playing field in those situations in a way I didn't expect, you have to lock in *so* hard to beat someone just doing shit in most new games
