@BlackCasebook After reading Kirby’s New Gods (and the PHENOMENAL finale Hunger Dogs), 90% of all other Darkseid depictions just seem like hollow trash to me

I’d never want to abandon the Kirby design, but I’m tired of Darkseid’s depiction as a big brute in a miniskirt throwing hands and shooting eye beams. He’s the personification of tyranny; surely there’s a way to lean into the cosmic horror of that force turning its gaze upon you

Absolutely yes to this. Vic having different clothes was a wonderful touch and it should be used more often for all Questions.

@Gill_Beat The hardcover omnibus volumes are pricey but it’s great to own it all

@questionposting Cowan was so good on that book. Hope it gets included in the DC finest line. I’ve read some, but never the whole series.

I love the classic Ditko hat and suit, but Denys Cowan giving Question a whole rotation of different outfits and hairstyles was an amazing move.
