fair warning: i'm a bottom harry only account and a tomarrymort main. I do ship several ships but I can be a bit picky about dynamics. i don't mind people who enjoy different stuff than me, i just probably will mute certain dynamics so I might not interact w/ those tweets.

Sixteen year old Tom Riddle meets twelve year old Harry Potter and immediately starts experiencing the most radical form of cuteness aggression. It gets so bad that whenever he's in Harry's presence his fingers start flexing like he's about to strangle the poor kid

@raindrop_fallng Something similar happens to me, so another thing I do is ask myself, "What would I do in this situation?" And then I write the complete opposite.

Writing charming, confident characters is so difficult. My own charisma stat is in the negative, so I just keep rereading the scene where Tom charms Hepzibah in hopes that dialogue style gets imprinted on my brain so I can replicate it lol

when I think of harry I always envision a small, skinny guy who stands his ground against people twice his size just out of sheer stubborn righteousness. the shortest person present and he still commands the room. idk, I like the contrast of it, does anyone get the vision?

The golden trio are so ride or die in my mind. Like they have their fights and petty conflicts but at the end of the day they'd die and/or kill for each other and I think that's beautiful

Okay since we're all talking about harry's stature right now anyway, I gotta mention Tom using skinny as an insult against Harry. I know he's using it as a synonym for weak here but still. "I can't believe I was defeated by a TWINK!" Like, glass houses, buddy.

i like harry shorter than book canon for a lot of reasons. the biggest ones being that i like the image of a magical powerhouse in an unlikely form (scrappy, average height, scrawny) and it’s a realistic consequence of childhood abuse and neglect (1/2)
