@maxmarchione Been doing this for a while too and love it. It's great to go on walks or stop by the corner store without a phone. The one thing I've been missing more these days is having a camera on me.

I just bought an Apple watch to get rid of my phone most of the day. The watch has no notifications. I keep my phone far away from, including in the morning and at night. The watch has credit cards, keys, podcasts, and that's it. This already feels like a life hack.

@sivori Having a child was like watching a sunset - sure, you technically can describe it with words, but words fall infinitely short of the actual experience.

Much of life is like this. Love, marriage, having children, the death of your parents, your own aging and decline, divorce, etc. I remember being a teen and trying to piece together what sex with a woman must be like based on what I could gather from various sources. Life must be lived to be understood. Life is practice over theory. There’s no way around this. But, this is why many of life’s greatest adventures should not be the subject of deliberation. Being married and having a family should be seen as part of the natural career of life. We have made it an option, in many cases, to our detriment.

@DoorDash catering and customer support, what is going on over there

I have a Macbook Pro and Mac Mini. The same Apple mouse is paired to both, and I was using the mouse for the Mini. Accidentally, I moved the mouse ACROSS computers. It happened seamlessly, as if the two displays were connected to the same computer. Respect, Apple.

If you're trying to create something new and change the world, it seems especially dangerous to outsource thinking and decision-making to something trained on predicting the most likely next token.

@paulg lots of cached items and app data that i didn't even know about- as an example I had tried out some metaverse products years ago that were still taking up a lot of space, as well as some ghost files. Cleaned up 11GB

My Mac was slow. I found an amazing free solution that cleaned it up, and now it's fast. very good, runs in terminal. github.com/tw93/Mole
