Cercando una alternativa a Gliph sono inciampato su Birdfont. 5 minuti con la versione free e ho comprato per 10 dollari la versione plus, ma dato Johan porta avanti il progetto da solo, ho deciso di dare un piccolo contributo extra per sostenere il progetto.

Cercando qualche info ne ho scoperto l'autore: Matt Sarnoff, @txsector. A questo link msarnoff.org/millitext/ parla brevemente del progetto (che a quanto pare non è poi così recente). Matt, thank you for sharing!

Per Typeface obsessed: questa font è larga solo un px e non è visibile a occhio nudo, ma sui display lcd funziona (grazie all'uso dei colori). Notevole intuizione.
