Hear me out. Interesting conspiracy. Big moves have been made in Dallas recently for the two teams that play in the AAC. The Mavs trades were all engineered to relocate the Mavs and make the Adelson’s happy but realized it would be at the expense of Dallas market/fans. This could indirectly hurt the Stars and the American Airlines center all together. The stars get Mikko Rantanen out of thin air to continue making the AAC profitable and keep Dallas fans engaged + raise title hopes. Meanwhile the NBA has superstars in every big market. Texas still has their superstar team with Wemby and new acquisition DeAaron Fox. The timing just seems very weird given the context and could be made out to seem like a win everywhere
