cagent: An agent sandbox that allows Docker-in-Docker. I use this for development and security testing. Work in progress but it's useful and ergonomic for my use cases. github.com/noperator/cage…

My favorite feature of cagent: masking .git/ as read-only. Super easy for me to see exactly what the agent changed. In the worst case, I can always restore any code that the agent accidentally blasted away.

Don't let people tell you that switching model mid session is a bad idea.
It's super useful to quickly switch from say Opus to Codex to get a second opinion based on the exact same context without any ceremony like starting a new session, spawning a subagent, etc.

Nope, I'm not a model switching person. I don't really care. I can waste money on sonnet/opus and I haven't heard anything concrete that any model is spectacularly better. So why waste time my time? I think once you say something is cheap or free that makes people biased in thinking it performs better, because they want it to.

The way I want to vibe code, it's expensive. I'm going to put my head in the sand and act like that's not a problem. Fingers crossed.

I'm starting to realize just how expensive vibe coding is. I get why people try to optimize token usage now. I'm not going to because I have money to light on fire. I'm really betting on the fact that either 1) other people make tokens more efficient or 2) it just gets cheaper.
