It's not often we get to follow a protagonist go from a child to an elderly person. I think his motivation stemming from hatred and vengeance is also very unique for a Gundam Protagonist.

@GNbeaker @stellamarie1123 well there's two OVAs, a prequel to the movies and a sequel to the anime. the anime also adapts some of the manga. the movies aren't chronological and the third one adapts some of the manga. there's also a live-action drama set after the movies but adapts some of the anime
