you can ask her to do damn near anything and she’s fully capable. she can score & facilitate at an elite level & be efficient at both. you need her to step up & defend she can do that too. can operate on or off ball, play 1-3, and she’s an exceptional leader on top of all of that

no other player who can facilitate and has the court vision and basketball IQ to give you 14 assists with no “bad passes” turnovers and is also a consistent and effortless 3-level scorer. 1.1 and no imaginary scenarios would ever change that 😮💨

Some fans and media can be so funny. Ccc and liv are being pushed for MVP talks with comparable stats to Paige which she is even better in some aspects while playing a different role this season.
Even though A’ja is clearly the front runner, I see no reason why anybody else other than Paige in Dallas is in the conversation. There are other awards for Jess to be in conversations. Some of these narratives are driven by fans and it’s funny cos you’d never see other team fans pushing other players that way. You just have to check the stats and watch the games to see why it should be Paige if Dallas were to have a candidate.
