I had three things I really wanted to say; 1. Introduce myself as your editor 2. Tell you how much I appreciate all of your hard work and how talented I think you are. 3. Explain and say sorry for not being around as much. Instead…when I got in there I got some of that out before I had a mini breakdown…which really took me by surprise lol Over the past year Ive dealt with a lot; from caretaking for my mother (who had fallen ill) to having to take a second full time job to cover her finances and much more. As an effect of this I stopped a lot of things that bring me joy; D&D, editing, clipping, and most importantly watching and participating in Runie’s streams/community. Things have started to get better lately and Phase Con was my first big step to reclaiming some agency I lost. I don’t think I realized any of this until I started talking and it all came rushing out of me in an emotional mess.
