My statement to the APEX community regarding the future of APEX PWAs on iOS: Apple's forthcoming iOS 17.4 will adhere to the EU's Digital Markets Act (DMA) by enforcing browser equality. While the DMA could have enabled other browser vendors also to deliver PWAs on iOS, Apple has opted to disable this functionality altogether. This decision significantly impacts APEX apps in the EU by: • Removing the installable app-like experience. • Disabling push notifications. • Slowing page loads by clearing local cache. APEX PWAs will essentially be reduced to simple bookmarks, and existing apps relying on PWA functionality will break. This will directly harm EU businesses and consumers, and those affected APEX users will perceive it as a problem with their APEX app. I support partnering with @OpenWebAdvocacy to take this matter forward and I'm calling on the #orclAPEX community to sign this open letter to @tim_cook to reconsider this direction: 👉 letter.open-web-advocacy.org Given Apple’s track record of globalizing changes initiated under EU legislation, there’s a considerable risk these restrictions could extend worldwide. Let’s pushback against this anticompetitive measure to preserve the open web, where APEX thrives. And finally if your app or business is impacted, please DM me. I am dedicated to escalating your use of APEX PWA to the relevant stakeholders.

@kdepoel Sorry, no plans to bring a dark mode for the Redwood Light theme style in APEX. Not exactly the same, but you can use Vita Dark and adjust the colors in Theme Roller to be Redwood-inspired.

@heifiheifi Thanks for raising this. Unfortunately, there isn’t an option on the Edit List Entry page to set the link target to a page in another application. e.g. Page Designer App-4000 = App Builder, 4500 = SQL Workshop. In the menu I can only set the current app as target.

How can we share the navigation menu over multiple applications? When I copy and subscribe the menu I get an error cause the link belongs to the "main" app. We basicially wan't to reproduce the Page Designer behaviour where mult. apps are used @OracleAPEX #orclapex
