Nike Alpha Menace 3 My vote for the best cleats in the game for route runners. Slightly wider than normal carbon fiber plates allow for you to have edge to edge stability. Chevron shaped cleats strategically placed allow for maximum traction and propulsion out of your cuts.

Vertical Push Example

“Late hands high hands” is a phrase I use a lot with receivers. Don’t put your hands up too soon and let the DB on your inside know that the ball is close. Catch the ball high and away from your body on over the shoulder catches if possible- make it hard from the DB to get to it

Changing up the tempo on your releases can be an effective tool to add to your release tool belt. The key is you must follow up a slower tempo with a quick shake opposite direction
