polish lady at my moms work tried to tell my mom there weren’t any jewish people in poland, ever
my mom said yes there were, maybe not anymore because of the holocaust, but there were. my mom also mentioned how her grandma was polish jewish so she would know of all people (even though this is such a basic fact)
the lady was quick to shut her mouth after that. turns out her daughter in law is an afghan married to her polish son lol
