So the options for Tomestone are: (1) Do nothing. Leave it the way it is now. (2) Hide the prog point by default but let people opt in to bringing it back on their cards. (3) Do (2), but also make activity be opt in by default as well, i.e., just cut off all information so that a Dalamud plug-in or other Web site can't rebuild the prog point from activity. (4) Enhance the prog point in ways yet tbd (e.g., switch to fight duration? last mechanic while alive? additional consistency checks?)

I really love how Space Engineers 2 looks, sounds, and feels. It's a testament to the incredible team behind it. Their dedication and talent have brought this project to life.

@ALUCARD77291 @marek_rosa Part of the issue I think is that (empirical evidence of course) most users do not discover or subscribe to BPs/mods from in game - rather, they use the Workshop to find them, subscribe, then play without ever using the Workshop in game except as a fancy downloader.

@smol_computer @marek_rosa Yup, as someone who’s also used both, mod.io is a complete shitshow from a creators view, I’ve had my work stolen, others have too, the mods do nothing to the plagiarizers, mass reporting them only sometimes works, and that’s not mentioning the buggy UI

@marek_rosa One thing that I was shocked to not see is a system for armor similar to Starship Evo's blocks where instead of having a specific shape, you set nodes (on a grid, e.g. 25cm) and extents and the block is rendered based on that.

@marek_rosa @ALUCARD77291 As someone who has used both modio and steam workshop to maintain mods and blueprints: do the work early rather than later, people are going to continue to be angry about modio. It's pretty bad from a creator perspective and it lacks most discoverability tools compared to Steam.

This has been heavily misunderstood. We will have ingame Workshop just like we have in SE1. Just the backend will be mod.ion, not Steam. Players shouldn’t see a difference. And if the backend won’t be liked for some reason we will migrate to Steam Workshop. Mods are top priority, there’s no intention to mess this up.

M2S Beat 1 heart orbs are a completely fixed or almost exactly fixed pattern. I'm sure others have noticed this, but you can ALWAYS take the stack near the east/southeast side of the room and be almost entirely clear of orbs if you start at N and rotate.
