@momorikaa I know some mutuals that have gotten botox injections in their masseters to help! It’s not typically covered by insurance but worth a try compared to $7k 😅

update: I was there for 4 hours yesterday 😵💫 attempting to see if insurance will cover anything bc I guess tmj problems weren’t recognized as an issue till 2020 so it’s all very new still. (Crazy to me but I digress) if not we’re looking at around $7k …. :,0
transparently im a little nervous they want to put me on all this medication and it doesn’t necessarily *feel* like a solution. If anyone else has had any similar experiences or solutions w tmd or tmj issues pls pls reach out !

for those of you who don’t know I have severe jaw pain and it has become more constant and some days debilitating. I finally found a specialist and have my first appointment today. Fingers crossed that I will finally get answers 🥹🫶🏻
