We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mick Hunt, former Head Groundsman at Lord's. Mick was a very popular character among MCC Members and staff, and his huge smile a permanent feature around the Ground for 49 years, having joined the Lord's groundstaff in 1969 and retiring in 2018. Few people can attest to being so indelibly connected to the history of Lord's. We offer our sincere condolences to his family.

📣 Southend Cricket Club – Adult Winter Nets Announcement! 🏏❄️ We’re excited to confirm that Adult Winter Nets will begin on Sunday, 1st February 2026! 🙌 📍 Venue: Thorpe Hall School ⏰ Session Times: •🏏 1:00pm – 3:00pm Training will continue weekly, until the start of April. After that, we hope to return to outdoor training at the club — weather permitting! ☀️🌧️ Looking forward to seeing everyone there and kicking off another great season! 💚🏏
