@stevepullen2 @horseheadpete The carb is the 1 3/4 Was standard on Metros as well Tbh honest, in reviews they performed as well as twin SUs the MG Metros and MG Metro Turbos used the 1/3/4 SU

Mini passed its MOT today still going strong rewarded it with a few B roads 😏

@HistoryUnter @horseheadpete 1275 engine is from a mini Italian job not sure what the original carb was I have it somewhere! We changed it for twin 1 1/4 from an MG

@HistoryUnter @horseheadpete 1275 Engine we started with was stripped and we had to rebore +40, forged pistons fitted giving abt 1310cc

@stevepullen2 @horseheadpete Why 1310 ? Was it 78mm bore with standard 1274 crank make it 1340 ? Can't remember sorry I did a lot with Minis in my younger days My favourite was my 1071s engine Ended up selling to Minisport Just go found my old books, not sure where How to Modify your Mini has gone.. 🤔😠
