Why can't game companies just make Data discs that holds the data like what Final Fantasy Remake/Rebirth did. Rockstar has just doomed all physical media and ownership with this move and I can't support it. Far too many people are brainwashed by convenience and not looking at the blue print... You will own nothing and be happy oh and just so you know we can turn off the game servers anytime.

My take on the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition is that pretending to be mad about a couple vehicles and cosmetics in a deluxe edition is peak performative outrage. This is a standard thing in almost every game coming out, Cosmetics & bonus side activity for deluxe editions is normal and was even in Red Dead 2. What I DO find problematic is locking actual stores and modshops, this just feels like a super odd way to approach how these bonuses work, I’d much prefer if these locations were still accessible and only the exclusive items weren’t sold there if you don’t own the Ultimate Edition. Its going to be weird to walk up to these stores and have them just be locked because you don’t own the right edition.

Hay gente, no irónicamente, indignandose de que un GTA 6, que lleva en desarrollo activo más de 4 años (y probablemente 12 desde los primeros conceptos) cueste 80$ de base, siendo casi con toda seguridad el juego más grande que vamos a ver en este década. En una industria donde, al mismo precio sale un Fifa anual reciclando mas del 90% del juego del año anterior, en una industria donde cada año sale el mismo juego de Fórmula 1 con 4 cambios y todos los bugs de los anteriores, y no olvidar el COD anual y por supuesto a nuestros amigos de nintendo que no solo sacan los juegos más caros, si no que ni los bajan cuando pasa el tiempo... Y respeto a todos esos juegos y sus fandoms, pero lo siento mucho, no se puede criticar a Rockstar por esto y sabéis que soy el primero en criticarlos duramente cuando lo hacen mal.
