משנת 1999 טורקיה לא מצליחה להתקבל לאיחוד האירופי. בגדול זה קורה כי אף מדינה נורמלית לא רוצה להכניס את הילדה המכוערת והפרימיטיבית הזו אליה כיתה. אבל כשיורדים לפרטים זה קורה כי טורקיה של @RTErdogan היא מדינה דמוקרטית רק על הנייר. מדובר במדינה שמספקת מחסה ותמיכה פיננסית לארגוני טרור כדוגמת החמאס, גם אחרי שהחמאס ביצע את טבח ה 7.10 והערך 'זכויות אדם' בה, הוא לכל היותר קוריוז. חמור מכך, טורקיה של ימינו חולמת בהקיץ על חזרה לימיה הגדולים של האימפריה העותמנית ומחזיקה חלק לא מבוטל באי הקפריסאי באופן בלתי חוקי. יש סיבה שטורקיה מעלה תחושה של בחילה בכל מדינה אפשרית בעולם המערבי וכל עוד שלטונו של הרודן ארדואן יימשך, היא תמצא עצמה מבודדת יותר ויותר.
