Leeches are interesting parasites. They attach themselves to a host and suck their blood. When they’ve had their fill, they fall off, digest what they’ve consumed and start looking for another host to rinse and repeat. When attached to their hosts, they drink up to 10-15 times their body weight in blood, swelling in size. This makes them look much bigger than they really are. Manickam Tagore has been consistently critical of the DMK for a long time.
