Steep drawdowns amongst the largest subnets this week. Chutes: -11%. Our data shows whales were heavy sellers, with 3/5 of the largest sales this period done in 1 clip (shown below), amplifying the move. Ridges: -23%, move down also led by whale selling. As @here4impact points out, this silent rally in SoS is picking up steam. Our data platform indicates much of the move is being driven by the top 1000 TAO holders, with outsized growth in avg SN allocations of the top 500 TAO holders driving much of the move. The trend has accelerated in the past week. TLDR: $TAO whales are allocating to subnets more aggressively💥

Bittensor SN64 @chutes_ai and SN3 @tplr_ai are both appreciating in value against TAO, after putting in likely macro bottoms around the Bittensor halving in December. While your TAO is staked in subnets, not only do you get appreciation against TAO if your subnets are going up, but you also earn emissions on the subnet (alpha) tokens themselves. It's a double flywheel that grows your stack while you do nothing, and it's one of Bittensor's unique value propositions. The fact this network remains so misunderstood is one of many reasons why I continue to be so bullish on it.

SN3 @tplr and the rest of the @covenant_ai subnets are amongst top performers this week, with SN3 net buying driven by its top 20 holders. This comes after the team released its Heterogeneous SparseLoCo paper, which promises breakthroughs in training frontier LLMs with distributed compute.
