As a surgeon you have to have controlled arrogance. If it's uncontrolled you kill people but you have to be pretty arrogant to saw through a person's chest, take out their heart and believe you can fix it. Then when you succeed and the patient survives,you pray, because it's only the grace of God you get there. OZ Mehmet.

ایک مریض صاحب جو سویڈن سے آئے تھے کہنے لگے کہ سویڈن میں تو ڈاکٹر کمرے سے باہر آ کر مریض کو مسکرا کر ملتے ہیں اور چیک کرنے کے بعد کمرے کے دروازے تک چھوڑ کر جاتے ہیں ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ میں نے کہا اگر آپ مجھے سویڈن والی فیس دیں تو میں آپ کو ہنس کر ملوں گا اور چیکنگ کے بعد آپ کو گھر تک چھوڑ کر آوں گا ۔۔۔۔ 😊

Sack the doctors immediately how dared they write to the Chief minister & expose her incompetence. The onus is on the doctors. Madam CM is doing a great job. She has been addressing the grave & only health issue of doctors on duty using mobile phones. Na rhy baans na bajy bansuri. Keep it up madam CM.

Shahdara Teaching Hospital has been left understaffed again after doctors were sent back to Ganga Ram, forcing patients into risky referrals with delays and added costs. Without senior surgeons, trainees are unsupervised and even minor cases are handled by unauthorized staff, creating serious risks. For many patients, especially those with limited means, this breakdown in standards is a direct threat to life and demands urgent accountability. @MaryamNSharif

It was in 2011 one fine morning our HOD surgery showed up smiling during a post emergency meeting & said Pakistani doctors have been declared as the best in the world in a survey done worldwide. Then started the mushroom growth of private medical colleges & foreign graduates & American health authorities had to warn PMDC if it didn't improve the quality of Pakistani doctors it could ban them in the USA. Dr Asim in cahoots with PMDC unleashed the surge of private medical colleges & foreign graduates from 2008-2013. Medical schools in Pakistan from its inception till 2008 were 68 & it reached 120 in just 5 years. Just imagine the state of affairs in Pakistan technicians are demanding the government to allow them treat patients independently.
