@modormouth Mind you, my aunts would watch this collection of B-horror short films with me and most of it didn’t phase me. But I still have a terrible fear of escalators because of an Itchy and Scratchy bit in the Simpsons I saw as a kid. Brains are weird!!

@modormouth I had a babysitter who watched R rated horror films with me when I was 11, but she also like, taught me to make no-bake cookies, so it was something I always looked forward to, and for whatever reason, they didn’t scare me. I saw things like the Ring, was completely unphased

weird2ask but: does anyone have that piece of media that u played or watched as a kid which was actually unnerving and young you wasn't scared? but now that ur older + you see the implications ur more scared that younger you wasn't scared?
