This scene from (Wonderyears) is pretty wild. If you're too young, you're too young, but this is incredible. What you are watching is an 80s democrat culture making a scene in a show to demonstrate and propagandize its people to vote democrat. However, that didn't go well because they went so far to make this scene as realistic as possible, but they also in the process illuminated the other side being normal thinking people. I support releasing congressional misconduct records, but Mace’s post leaves out key facts. The 357–65–1 vote wasn’t to “protect predators.” Most of those 357 Members have no cases involving them at all. Members were told beforehand that an immediate, blanket release would expose victims, compromise ongoing investigations, and violate Ethics rules that exist to protect those victims. The vote sent the issue to the Ethics Committee, the standard process for sensitive records. I support transparency, but it has to be done in a way that protects victims and doesn’t jeopardize active cases. Mace should had known this.

A young woman is dead. This story begins and ends with her. Tony Gonzales may be leaving, but she doesn’t get to. We forced a floor vote on our resolution to make Congress release every record of sexual harassment and misconduct it’s been sitting on. Both Republicans and Democrats voted it down. They chose the cover-up over the victims. Tony Gonzales' political career still couldn’t survive the truth. To the 357 who voted no: you now carry the burden of protecting the powerful. The victims’ names were going to be redacted in our resolution. Don’t say your vote protected them, they were already protected. You chose to keep the truth buried. A young woman deserved better from this institution. So did every woman whose name is still buried in those files. This isn't over. Hold the Line.
