liked the gladiator two trailer but i can't believe Ridley Scott would make a historical error this big: they didn't have cameras back then so it was impossible to make a movie about gladiators. Next time he should hire a real historian to consult with

The book took some eight years to produce. It was used to calculate the celestial latitude and longitude of the planets and also cast horoscopes (this map of constellations in the book includes the signs of the zodiac - and is quite beautiful up close).

this is so touching. they may be reincarnated souls who'd once lived in that very house; & are now exiled to dwelling beneath the deck. cannot comprehend why they are no longer inside sitting upright while eating, using cutlery, watching TV, vaguely discontented with their lives.

@JoyceCarolOates Raccoons are smart enough to see humans live fascinating lives. While the skunks and possums on my deck only want food, the raccoons stand with hands on the glass watching life inside. They peer around curiously if I open the door and only take the proffered food as afterthought.
