@WilliamShatner I check in every day, sir.
At least, on X anyway.
X is the only place in the universe that one can go that offers the chance to be followed by a crowd of Elons.

The only weirdos are the ones not coming to see me today. 🤔 What are you doing today‽ 🤨🤷🏼😑
Jason Snider@JBirdDaBadman
@WilliamShatner Thank God. You gonna beam up all the weirdos today?
English

@WilliamShatner DesiLu, was cutting edge with the times. And, way ahead of everyone else on the planet who saw the potential of space exploration as it relates to entertainment. And, Gene Roddenberry was the visionary who was able to convey his vision to Lucy Ball, well enough to convince her.

🙄 No, Star Trek was about society’s social issues of the 1960’s. Those issues over the years may have become political issues but with the network censors: they never would have allowed political issue storylines to air.
It’s sad to see how uninformed some are about the past.
Eric Mrozek 🇺🇸🦅🌎⚛️🧦🗽✍🏻@EricMMrozek
That is an absurd thing for someone like @WilliamShatner to say. The original Star Trek was INCREDIBLY political even by the standards of its time. The main difference between it and most sci-fi properties, though, is that its progressivism is universalist in nature.

Mini iSesamo Opening Tool repairsuniverse.com/products/isesa…
The perfect stocking stuffer for anyone who likes to rebuild phones 📱, iPads, etc. A guitar 🎸 pick works great for this purpose, also. But, if you’re always cracking open your devices for whatever reason, it’s best to have it.

@nickofnz The blood 🩸 of the Earth 🌍 is no more limited than the wind 🌬️ or sun 🌞 is, and the last time the Earth was in this quadrant of the galaxy 🌌 the dinosaurs 🦕 were still roaming the Earth. They lived far longer lives than people ever have, but oil is not their remains at all.

A little classic clickbait for breakfast 🍳.
But, I bet Bill Shatner didn’t actually think 💭 that all those “live long, and prosper” uttered at him would actually happen. No?

@elonmusk First time, this time around.
Humans have been flyers before, we just have no records of it happening in the past. However, there’s plenty of evidence without any records associated with it happening, all around the planet 🌍. Flight ✈️ has been just as common in the past before.
English

Incredible that it was only 66 years from the first controlled, powered flight to landing on the Moon!
Wonder of Science@wonderofscience
These two photographs are separated by only 66 years.

@catturd2 @Carolin86228385 Unfortunately, dumber happens a lot.
It’s beyond the scope of words like “can’t”.
However, I often wonder if tech like Neural Link shall ever lead to wireless telepathic communication with other creatures, as well as other humans , and 💻 machines interacting without keyboards.

@west_ultra_maga @financedystop I’m in Florida right now, and yes Florida has it for sale in the home improvement and hardware stores, but it’s banned in California, since 2015.
The air quality board (CARB) has banned its use in California. It’s state recommended substitute for it is TriSodiumPhosphate or TSP.
English

@tomowski @financedystop I use mineral spirits almost daily...you can't just go to Lowe's and buy some?

@atensnut I always made a hobo bag out of towel tied with a rope, and hung over my shoulder, that I could tie off to my belt to drape over my shoulder when I wanted my hands 🙌 free. If it was extra heavy I would also wrap the bundle with the rope to keep it secured to the belt twice.

@SenSanders Uncanny valley going on, Bernie?
I don’t think 🤔 it’s wise to have them stop teaching the script that makes one curse under their breath while learning it, either. Because, all the historical documents 📑 are written in it.
We’re just a little peons under government control, no?
English

Call me a radical, but NO.
We should not be replacing teachers in America with robots.
We should attract the best and brightest in our country to become teachers and pay them the decent wages that they deserve.

Melania: The future of AI is personified. It will be formed in the shape of humans. Very soon, artificial intelligence will move from our mobile phones to humanoids that deliver utility. They fit well. Imagine a humanoid educator named Plato

@FredboM @NONbiasedly @lucyshow11 The ratchet would always break at the worst possible time.
I got in the habit of carrying two, until I switched over to the folks who would bring the tools 🧰 to me with their truck, which NEVER break, just because I got REALLY sick of breaking knuckles. Nowadays it’s battery 🪫.
English

@NONbiasedly @lucyshow11 Lifetime warranty on those tools. You couldn’t beat it.
English

@FredboM @NONbiasedly @lucyshow11 Oh yeah 👍 you can beat it.
It’s returnable.
And, you’ll likely buy something else you don’t need when you’re in there, too.
Pretty slick stuff though, especially the “free replacement” part, because gasoline ⛽️ was practically “free” back then so it would only cost 💲 your time.
English

@NONbiasedly @lucyshow11 I was always going in there to replace the stuff that broke, and realized it was just a ploy to get me to go there again, because every time I went there I would buy something. So, I flagged down the SnapOn truck, and started buying tools 🛠️ (that never break) from there onwards.
English

@lucyshow11 @TheLucyShow1 Sears began as a catalog retailer that grew into a major retailer with stores 🏬, and now the internet 🛜 is becoming increasingly more accessible and fast 💨 paced that it’s replacing the traditional retail stores. The company that didn’t see that coming was stretching itself.

@TheProjectUnity It’s keyed.
It’s a launch 🚀 pad for a humongous machine.
It’s keyed to direct the rocket blasts away from the launch station so it pops up in a place other than where the machine is located before liftoff.

@Carolin86228385 @elonmusk @X Technology, is just another way for the unseen to illicit the emotional state that they wish to create in their “toys”, as they see us, who for some reason think that we matter in such a way as that they should regard our opinions. “If voting made a difference…” ~ Mark Twain

@mlbenoit @atensnut The Drive Ins around Michigan (where one of my parents grew up) were selling them mosquito 🦟 coils that had to be lit 🔥 and would then make a stinky smoke 💨 that repelled the mosquitos, instead of fogging them off. They figured out the best way to profit from the problem.
English

@atensnut In Florida, where I grew up, when my parents took us to the drive-in before it started, a car would go by spewing some kind of gas that would kill mosquitoes
English

@atensnut The drive in near where I lived never waited for dark, and they had a playground 🛝 in front of the screen so mom and dad could keep an eye on us kids who weren’t interested in the movie 🎦.
