@Moonlight_myths Sounds to me like he’s preemptively opting out of imminent fatherhood. Maybe he’s scared of what’s happening and taking it out on you. Either way, he’s a shitbag. Never forget this attitude because he’ll deny it.

This detached, cold version of him has absolutely nothing to do with the sweet, attentive man I fell in love with. But for the sake of my own sanity - which is already hanging by a thread - I've started letting go. I didn't call him over to watch TV with me today. I made popcorn and didn't ask if he wanted any. Bedtime came and I didn't go get him. It hurts like hell to force this kind of distance between us, but hearing what he said yesterday hurt so much more.

“Today I started "weaning" my husband off me. We've been together for two years, and he used to be completely attached to me, my partner in everything, but yesterday he told me that I'm way too clingy and that I suffocate him. For context: I'm pregnant, it's a high-risk pregnancy, I'm an emotional wreck, and I've never felt this vulnerable in my life. When he gets home from work, I just want to be with him, do things together, but yesterday he basically admitted he'd rather I do my own thing while he does his. His thing is playing video games. He plays every single day, and honestly that's never bothered me. But ever since I was put on bed rest, l spend the entire day alone, and eventually I run out of things to keep myself busy.

In June of 2018 Hugh came to us from the PDWRA. They said he was between 8-10 years old. We said goodbye to him on Thursday 5th March 2026. He was adored by us as well as all of his furry siblings. He was the calmest, most generous dog I’ve ever owned. Fly high sweet Hugh 🌈💔

I'll give you a man's perspective. Brutally reject him, clearly he isn't getting the hint so you have to be a little more blunt with why you aren't interested. Will it hurt his feelings, sure. But he had it coming when he kept pressing with PUA lines trying to convince you. I was never the type, if a woman indicated she wasn't interested, I wished her a lovely rest of her evening and moved on. Men need to start doing that again.

@NalinisKitchen And yes, this is how I learned back in the day, on a manual typewriter! Thankfully electric ones were becoming popular and I typed even faster on one of those. Then word processors and computer keyboards. God I’m SO OLD… 😊

@NalinisKitchen Touch Typists orient their fingers to the centre of the keyboard with the left side being ASDF, the right JKL; . F & J indicate the position of the index fingers of each hand so the raised line on those keys are to feel your fingers in position so you don’t look at the keys.

I always wonder what these lines are for.
