The Average VCT Pro & Radiant player strives towards a fundamental guideline or "average" when it comes to how to approach the game.
However, the most notorious players of their respective "era" always deviated off the fundamental guideline into their own lane in some way.
Example: Primmie Crouching at a higher rate than any other pro
Example: Demon1 ADS'ing at a higher rate than any other pro
However, this is where the largest misconceptions come from in all of Educational Valorant Content.
The amount of videos I have seen talking about how you need to crouch like primmie or aim like demon1 is absurd. This is NOT what you need to do to become great.
The key difference is that you cannot force yourself to aim like demon1 or crouch like primmie and expect good results. You need to find your OWN strengths and deviate your gameplay in that direction to better suit & create your own player identity.
Example: Demon1 best raw aimer in valorant, hard commits to fights with ADS to abuse this, pushing him over the line as the best player in the world that year.
Example: Sinatraa best movement in early valorant: abuses phantom / odin and makes himself incredibly hard to shoot whilst taking fights at his own pace abusing his movement to keep him alive longer, pushing himself over the line of one of the best players in the game in early valorant.
TLDR:
Stop trying to copy VCT pros, learn from them but do not expect to copy unique player identities and find results. Find what you are good at, and deviate off the "default" guideline in that direction.

Not watching the Super Bowl halftime show to appreciate real rap. I just want a performance. Go watch Prince rip Purple Rain in the 2007 halftime show on YouTube and come back here. The level of entertainment and energy start to finish doesn’t even compare. We went backwards.

yay was one of my favorite personalities to play with in CS and Valorant so I'm not really sure where all this hate stemming around him is coming from.. think its just pure hatred on someone which is sad. Is he the perfect player or person? no but is anyone? I also don't understand sharing private clips, I've seen quite a few now and shame on all of you for just constantly clipping private things or sharing them publicly. same as FNS has said before, I'm sure every team has INSANE dirty laundry but as a professional or competitor you keep it inhouse. I really hope yay is ignoring all of you, and keeps grinding which can be said more than the rest of you.
