In Jamsil 7, 2 ballot boxes were taken out 35 hours after voting closed as protesters demanding the suspension of vote counting. Roh Tae-ak, the chairman of National Election Commission, offered his resignation following the incident and NEC stated that the issue does not constitute grounds for postponing the election or re-election.
