@ivycomb @Benny_the_cat You can't genuinely believe that. There are plenty of exhausts for 4 cylinders that sound good, and aren't just loud. Just like how there are exhausts for V8s that sound good, and some that sound awful

@Benny_the_cat Depends very heavily on what car it is.
An exhaust is absolutely not worthwhile on any 3 or 4 cylinder car for example. It will not make it sound better, just louder.
Certain 6 cylinder cars, sure. V8/V10/V12 invariably yes
For most people a sound system is a better choice

So the body on my 84 300SD is worse than I realized, so I bought this 85 300SD with no engine or trans, thinking an engine swap would be easy...
I didn't realize this was a California car, and a ton of the wiring is different. If anyone knows these cars we'll, help me out 😅
