@vanpyrebat have you ever read The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket? it’s a flawed work, yet insanely influential upon all later oceanic literature. everyone from Herman Melville to Jules Verne to HP Lovecraft drew inspiration from it

i love catwoman so much but i wish men focused more on the fact that she's using what these men seek--in this case it would be sexual objectification--and use it against them. added with the fact she protects sex workers and the exploited, it adds more weight to this scene.

@vanpyrebat that makes sense! I can get that.. my favorite about it (aside from the aspect ratio changes and the soundtrack) is how clear the humanity aspect was between everybody.. the scene when annie was about to turn and mary was so confused why she chose to die 😓
