@norbertosica @Rackspace my analysis is its still ransomware. owner figures it is cheaper to let the company go down than pay 100M or whatever. start up a new company instead. the rackspace reputation will never be repaired after this.

@abneyrealty @Rackspace I was dropped yesterday after 3.5 hrs. Today after 4 I dropped them as phone died.

@Rackspace Shame on @Rackspace … 2.5 hours on hold this morning and dropped. Call back and been on hold for over 4 hours. Small business owners don’t have 6.5 hours plus to deal with this so called solution… just terrible and unacceptable!!! #RackspaceOutage #RackspaceDown

The #rackspace failure had my law firm completely shut down for 80+ hours and nearly 2 full business days. We're up and running again and working on recovering data (luckily all of my e-mails are archived locally). Needless to say, we'll no longer be customers.

@MsMaddieMax @Rackspace I feel the pain. Hybrid here as well with other users spread across the USA relying on me to preserve their data and access on rack space email acts that are still working. While I am the one dead in the water with hosted act ..playing weekend IT engineer. Unimaginable nightmare!

@Rackspace In a terrible bind as we're hybrid. No simple way forward, plus it being the w/end makes it even worse. No idea how/when I'm going to get my email back. Was on hold for 8+ hrs before giving up.

@marksharkey @Rackspace If you have a hybrid setup with rackspace's hosted exchange, you can't make changes to the regular rackspace email mailboxes either.. because of the outage - status.emailsrvr.com/viewincidents?…

Do I have this right? I have 5 users on rack space email and they remain unaffected? My personal acct is a hosted exchange acct. I will need to move everyone to O365 upsetting their apple carts as well just so I can get emails again ?
