@BTWSEA The organization clearly wants to win, we can’t change it, so that’s what I’d prefer they do given the circumstances haha

With a new Salary Cap of $104.0M, the #SeaKraken have nearly $28.5M available to spend, keeping in mind that there are some notable free-agents the Kraken will need to decide on. 1) Bobby McMann (reportedly looking for $5.0M AAV) 2) Eeli Tolvanen (made $3.475M this year and is 27) 3) Jaden Schwartz (made $5.5M this year but is 33) 4) Jamie Oleksiak (made $4.6M this year but is also 33) 5?) Matt Murray (was making $1.0M this year) What are your thoughts on what the Kraken should do with this nearly $28.5M?

Something to be said about Larson’s pit crew being very good and keeping him out front even in races he probably doesn’t have the dominant car. Kansas being a good example, wins the second stage by 3 seconds, loses the lead on pit road and the Toyotas jump him on pit road and were going to win by 11 seconds without the last yellow. The clean air helps anyone leading, but clearly the Toyotas are so much faster. The 5 team at their normal ability would’ve been able to stay in striking distance at least even without the clean air, unless the cars have developed so much that the clean air means that much more in 2026 vs prior years

It's fascinating because something is clearly off with Hendrick this year and if they were their usual selves I think Larson would still be crushing it (and as it is, he's had dominant speed more often). But I think Chase is a bit better at getting more out of a slower car.

Is Chase Elliott the top driver at @TeamHendrick? "Yes, he is. And he HAS BEEN." - @BradGillie What do you think? 🤔 Listen to Fast Talk here: open.spotify.com/episode/4zJjzR…

With the salary cap increasing to $104m this off-season, I am absolutely TERRIFIED who the Kraken brass are going to throw it at. #SeaKraken

@lmm2996 It was my son’s first race in the grandstands and we’re both Larson fans. The 180 of emotions was a lot for a 33 year old but it nearly crushed an 8 year old

@vsChristopher @Alyx2448 How was Hamlin better? Chase was the one lapping those cars, of course they put up more of a fight against the leader.

Genuinely. When WAS the last time Chase won with a dominant race car and at an INTERMEDIATE of all places? This is rare for him to dominate a race. More of this please 9 team.

@Jake_A___ @Alyx2448 Hamlin could navigate lap traffic better and could drive through the field much more. Spending more time up front doesn’t equal an unbeatable car.

@vsChristopher @Alyx2448 I think the point wasn’t so much about the driver, but rather about the car. I thought his car looked pretty much unbeatable.

@Alyx2448 I just don’t think that’s dominance whatsoever I agree though that he was the lead dog and had the most time in control of the race but that doesn’t mean dominance

@vsChristopher He did lead the most laps and essentially took control of the race mid stage 2 when he got ahead of all the guys that took tires with him while Heim was leading. Tbh I'd say it was dominant even if he didn't start leading proper until Stage 3.

Spire better do everything they can to become one of the top dogs in the sport because if this dude becomes a weekly contender along with continuing doing stuff like this we'll have a true superstar on our hands for the first time in I don't know how long

Time for a shake up for the Tampa Bay Lightning. Might as well send Yanni Gourde and Oliver Bjorkstrand to the Seattle Kraken.

One MAJOR gripe about the broadcast today..... Stop showing the speed and Manufacturers in the pylon. We want to know the gap. That's it. I'm in the middle of trying to do mental math and I'm reminded for the 40th time that Chase Elliott still drives a Chevy at 169.420 MPH
