@corg_e @0xTib3rius I attended the meeting for @DC214DFW we just go by DC214 locally. Under my interpretation we are able to grandfather our naming convention in. People are frustrated/confused from the communications but not much is changing. A recording was taken. If public I’ll share later.

@0xTib3rius DC leadership quietly rolled out a bunch of new rules that ban local groups from using names like “DC615” or using DEF CON branding. Groups must now rebrand with little input from the community or any real clarity around the situation
