With the DHS shutdown over, Senate Republicans learned a hard lesson on Democrat obstruction of border security and election integrity.
Now the real choice:
(A) Nuke the filibuster for core reforms — voter ID, proof of citizenship, and immigration enforcement — so the American people decide by majority vote.
(B) Keep the status quo and hope Democrats don’t nuke it next time they’re in power and ram through their agenda permanently.

yup. talk to her team and they will tell you she is more popular than the Acela Corridor realizes. They also say that, in addition to horserace polling, by most campaign metrics, she starts at or near the top. Lastly, they will tell you that if certain states go first in 2028, she will be the early favorite, adding to her campaign metric momentum. I can tell you all the reasons I think she will not be the nominee, and the challenges she faces, but I get her team's arguments, some of which are not wrong.

Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. What was supposed to be a fun night at the @WHCA dinner with President Trump delivering jokes and celebrating free speech was hijacked by a depraved crazy person who sought to assassinate the President and kill as many top Trump administration officials as possible.
I was with President Trump and the First Lady back stage after we were quickly ushered to safety by Secret Service.
President Trump was truly fearless, but as he said last night, this political violence needs to end.
Thank you to law enforcement for keeping all of us safe, including the brave agent who took a bullet to the chest and immediately moved to neutralize the shooter.
Pray for our country.

If we come out of this with a strategically stronger Iran, one that knows it can close the Strait at any time and cripple the world economy, it's a geopolitical failure of enormous proportions.
