Commercial carbonated water is inexpensive and easy to obtain, making it suitable for home carbonation therapy.” Carbonated springs have been used for pain relief for millennia; carbonated water has 5-7 times higher concentration of CO2. Nauheim baths are high in carbonic acid, leading to CO2 uptake, and have been traditionally used for cardiovascular disease and inflammation.
