The difference beteeen $1 and Mk1 is so big that even if you earn Mk1 every day, you still won’t make $1 in 4 years.

it's sometimes cute and flattering and all, but having these AIs constantly try to reference what they know about you from past/recent chats without being asked is sometimes creepy and/or just annoying ... 🙄

Great addition to an already awesome library.

Software is pure “thought stuff”. One person can write code and billions can run it. If anything, our linear time produces exponential value. Therefore, I’ve never personally believed that developer time is expensive, that we have a “typing” problem. Or that English is somehow a better way to express code than a language as explicit as Zig. Granted, there’s tons of (non valuable) bespoke software that LLMs can now create. But the valuable thought stuff? Great systems coders are becoming more valuable than ever. In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.

Just because anyone can build software now doesn't mean software is dead. Anyone can bake bread in their home right now, yet 99% of us still choose to buy it from someone else. Simple products are complex! I will always be happy to pay someone to handle the nuances.

True story; once "vibe coded" an idea I had, the code looked good/interesting. I was satisfied to know it was feasible. Never ran the thing, deleted it next day.
