In a new episode, Cassie is once again portrayed as a superficial, money-grubbing girl, written to be hated, when in the previous two seasons she was a character guided by her feelings, who did crazy things for "love," who felt guilty for betraying her best friend, and who "comforted" Nate when he had nightmares. Now she's been reduced to a dumb blonde who only wants money, even though her husband is nearly killed in front of her, and all she does is cry about her makeup and how her perfect day was ruined. Five episodes remain to see if we can get Cassie back.
