Here is a quick walkthrough of everything new in Stitch:
🎨 The AI-native canvas can hold and reason across images, code, and text simultaneously. The new agent manager helps you design in parallel. (PS … light mode!)
🧠 A smarter design agent now understands your entire canvas context. You can swap images, generate product briefs, or mix mobile and desktop screens on the same canvas.
🎙️ You can vibe design with your voice (in Preview). Stitch can ‘see’ your canvas and your selected screens. You can ask for design critiques, variations, or navigate your canvas.
⚡️ Instant prototypes. Just hit the play button to see a prototype or preview your app in seconds. Stitch can imagine the next screen based on your mouse click.
📐 DESIGN.md and consistency. Every new design automatically starts with a cohesive design system which vastly improves consistency. The new DESIGN.md file can be used to export or import your design rules.

@stitchbygoogle It’s not ready for production, I am surprised Google launches mid products like that. Seriously. You can’t even get it iterate on designs, it’s gets all confused…I don’t know it’s just very buggy and not reliable.

@stitchbygoogle Doesn’t figma make already do this
Then why are they’re calling it the figma killer…

@stitchbygoogle Designers not needed anymore with updates like this.
One prompt and you’ve got a finished design, no need to pay $30/hour.

@stitchbygoogle @grok How does Google Stitch work after design can I immediately convert to code or what??
English

Stitch is impressive.
No debate.
But let's be honest about what it actually solves:
It solves the speed of making something look designed.
It doesn't solve:
→ Why your hero loses visitors in 3 seconds
→ Why your CTA gets ignored even when it's visible
→ Why beautiful sites still convert at 0.4%
AI can generate a landing page in minutes.
It cannot tell you if that landing page answers "what is this, is it for me, why should I trust it" fast enough for a cold visitor to care.
The bottleneck was never the pixels.
It was always the thinking behind the pixels.
Stitch just made that thinking more valuable,
not less.

@stitchbygoogle I just launched heyswiftlist.com designed on the front end by Stitch. Stitch figured out the user job process flow with a 10/10 solution.
Stitch is already producing great designs, can’t wait to see new updates.

@stitchbygoogle @grok give me an overview of how this has impacted publicly listed design companies

@stitchbygoogle The important feature here isn’t speed, it’s memory.
Can the tool hold onto design principles, edge cases, and system rules across a whole product surface? That’s where most AI design tools break.

@stitchbygoogle 🚨 Alert! Just designed a new screen using @stitchbygoogle — loving how fast ideas turn into visuals.
Still exploring, but this feels like the future of design 👀

The DESIGN.md feature is the one nobody is talking about.
Same concept as CLAUDE.md in Claude Code.
A markdown file that tells the AI your design system rules, component library, brand tokens, spacing conventions.
Every prompt you send after that inherits those constraints automatically.
No more explaining your design system from scratch every session.
This is how AI design tools stop producing generic output.
Context persistence is the actual unlock.
The canvas and voice features are nice.
But a design agent that actually knows your system before you start?
That's the one that changes the workflow.
English

@stitchbygoogle voice mode that can actually see ur canvas and give design critiques in real time is kinda insane
English

@stitchbygoogle Hopefully the handoff onto figma or Claude code is way more seamless.
Great updates.
Looking forward to the "figma is dead". Folks in the comments lol
English

@stitchbygoogle What we really need is a way to transition these designs to exact code reliably

@stitchbygoogle Google just dropped the biggest AI design tool update of 2026. Here's what @stitchbygoogle actually does and why every app developer should care 🧵👇

@stitchbygoogle @grok how does this stack up against Replit Agent 4?

@stitchbygoogle AI is leveling up the design process fast. 🔥
The real magic will be in how designers use tools like this to turn ideas into meaningful, human-centered experiences.
Welcome to the next era of UX/UI.
